What is The Chinese Challenge?

The Chinese Challenge was launched on 30 March 2009 by the Promote Mandarin Council. In its second year, The Chinese Challenge online contest will continue to provide an interactive platform to encourage Singaporeans and Permanent Residents to enjoy and improve their Mandarin and deepen their knowledge of Chinese culture through experiencing the finest in Chinese culture and language.

This year, The Chinese Challenge has full focus on students and only those aged 17 and below can take part.

How do I win the weekly prizes?

Three (3) top-scoring winners are randomly selected through a computerised lucky draw each week.

How do I get on The Chinese Challenge 2010 Grand Finals?

Top scorers will be invited to attend an audition at MediaCorp. A total of 6 finalists will be selected to compete in the Finals.

What can I win?

Weekly top-scoring winners each stand to win S$100 worth of prizes.

6 top-scoring participants over 6 weeks stand to win more attractive such as a family tour package in The Chinese Challenge Grand Final.
